Only knew of “Mr. Dong” as the owner of a typical Chinese American style groceries store on Mission Street. across the side street from the first Santa Cruz Medical Clinic….Did not think of Mr. Dong as a cook although he and his Chinese bride-Pauline, has a custom made giant wok and stove built at their home in the Nobel Drive neighborhood !
